When she was a child, Gina Writers didn't know that there was light even after sunset.

His days, in a small town on a small island in the small Dominican Republic, were marked by the rhythms of nature. Flowers, plants and animals surrounded and encompassed her entirely, as in a few years the skyscrapers of a large city would do.
